Bulleit is a frontier whiskey for the modern frontier. That’s why we created Bulleit Frontier Works, a series of projects where Bulleit collaborates with people who are pushing the frontier of their craft or expertise. Whether that’s creating the world’s largest tattoo billboard or giving new life to the old craft of neon signs, all of our Frontier Works projects highlight the interesting people and places at the edge of the modern frontier.

Helped Bulleit Frontier Whiskey bring the classic craft of neon back to LA. Committed to discovering new frontiers and revitalizing old ones, Bulleit debuted a 30-foot neon installation at Grand Central Market kicking off the fully integrated campaign. The installation was created by legendary neon artist and “The Neon Queen” Lisa Schulte with illustrations by artist Brendan Donnelly. The art features symbolic references to LA’s culture. Bulleit partnered with bartenders around LA to create neon inspired cocktails based on six of the icons featured on the board and will be available at bars throughout the city.

Coinciding with the launch of the Worlds largest tattoo, Bulleit released limited edition Tattooedbottles. These collectible bottles were created in partnership with some of the country's top tattoo artists whose work is inspired by the frontier spirit and culture of the cities they live in.  The collaborations mark the first time the Bulleit Bourbon bottle has been altered, transforming the frontier-inspired bottles into collectable pieces of modern art. Each bottle includes a hangtag featuring a scannable QR code to access an interactive Augmented Reality experience, bringing each artist's design to life digitally.

Bulleit created the first-of-their-kind, 3D printed limited-edition sneakers in collaboration with industrial designers and manufacturers at cutting-edge firm Tangible Creative and nationally recognized, Dallas-based artist Kyle Steed. The sneakers took more than 2000 hours to develop and the sneaker design was inspired by Kyle Steed's personal interpretation of what it means to be on the Frontier of culture. The shoe collaboration sold limited editions and Bulleit events was featured on Hypebeast.

This project coincided with events across the country showcasing 3D printed cocktails. The designs are created by precisely injecting microscopic dots of liquid ingredients into the drink in a pre-set pattern, which is all done by a robotic arm.

To honor the Clash of Clans release, 7 well known artists interpreted seven characters to life on the streets of San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City. We used VR to unite street art from across the country in one virtual city. See the world through their eyes as the city gleams white as a blank canvas. Experience their works in the perennial sunset of a cityscape inspired by  graffiti epicenters such as South Side Chicago and Brooklyn.
